Privacy Policy

Effective from the app's release on Google Play. Last updated 17 September 2026.

This policy covers the Tradiefolio Android app and the website tradiefolio.com. Both are run by one person: Ricky Went, trading as Wombat Logic (ABN 17 141 560 070), Queensland, Australia. Questions to [email protected].

The short version

Your jobs, photos, clients, quotes, invoices, receipts and trips are stored on your phone and nowhere else. The app has no account, no server and no analytics. We never see your data. The only outside party involved is Google Play, when you buy the unlock.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter is kept in the app's private storage on your phone: the job details, client names and contact details, photos you take or import, line items, the PDFs it makes, receipts, trip logs and your own business details (name, ABN, address, payment details). Android keeps this storage private to the app. Other apps cannot read it, and it is removed if you uninstall the app, so back up first.

Photos taken from inside the app are stored in the app, not in your phone's gallery. Photos you import from the gallery are copied into the app; the originals are left alone.

The backup file you create contains all of the above. It is written to wherever you choose to save it (for example your phone's Downloads folder or a cloud drive) and is then under your control and the privacy terms of whatever you store it in. It is not encrypted, because you need to be able to restore it on a new phone without a password you might have lost, so treat it like the paper records it replaces.

What leaves your phone

• Documents you share. When you tap Share on a quote, invoice or export, Android hands the file to the app you pick (email, WhatsApp, Drive and so on). From that point the file is handled under that app's terms. We are not involved.
• The unlock purchase. Buying unlimited jobs uses Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment, your card details, GST and the receipt under Google's privacy policy. The app receives only a purchase token that says the unlock is owned by the Google account on the phone. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details from Google. Google's billing library makes network connections to Google for this purpose, which is why the app declares the Internet permission.

That is the complete list. The app does not contact us, has no crash reporting or analytics, and does not use advertising identifiers.

Permissions

The app takes photos through the phone's camera app and picks photos through Android's photo picker, so it does not ask for camera or photo-library permission. It does not ask for location. Trips are logged from odometer readings you type, not from GPS.

The website

The site is static and hosted on Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. Cloudflare records standard server logs, including your IP address, to serve and protect the site; these are handled under Cloudflare's privacy policy and we do not use them to identify you. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees the request for the font file.

When you email us

If you write to us, we keep the email so we can reply and follow up. If you ask to be told when the app launches, we keep your address for that one email and delete it afterwards unless you ask to hear more. We do not add anyone to a mailing list without asking.

Who else sees your data

Google (Play Billing, only for the purchase) and Cloudflare (hosting and email routing for this site). Nobody else. We do not sell or share your details.

Children

The app is a business tool and is not directed at children.

Your rights

Because we do not hold your app data, there is nothing for us to hand over or delete: your data is on your phone and you delete it by deleting the job, the photo or the app. For anything you have emailed us, you can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at the address above. We follow the Australian Privacy Act.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date at the top, and the app's Settings screen links to this page.
